A evolução da tecnologia influencia o modo se fazer as coisas, determinando pontos na história da humanidade e suas gerações. No último século observamos a rápida evolução das tecnologias de informação e comunicação. Por meio da pesquisa de campo, foram levantados dados sobre as gerações (Baby Boomer’s, Geração X, Geração Y ou Millennial’s) relacionando-as com o consumo de determinada Mídia (Rádio TV, Internet). Os Baby Boomer’s tiveram uma grande relação com o Rádio e foi a primeira geração a criar uma perspectiva de vida diferente de seus antepassados mas, algumas de suas ideologias continuam influenciando as novas gerações. A geração X, por sua vez, foi mais influenciada pela TV e consequentemente pela publicidade, e na sequência dessa evolução percebemos a geração Y, ou Millennial’s, esses individuos se desenvolveram sobre grande influência da Internet. A Geração atual é a maior da história, em números de indivíduos, e essas três gerações convivem em casa, na escola e no trabalho. Uma pesquisa realizada pela revista Época, aponta o interesse dos Baby Boomer’s em absorverem e aprenderem essas novas tecnologias. A geração X absorve bem as novas tecnologias, mas não ficam tanto tempo conectados quanto a geração Y (Millennial’s). A implantação de novas tecnologias deixa marcos na História da formação das gerações. Por mais que haja um interesse dos Baby Boomer’s em aprender, falta paciência aos mais jovens para ensinar. A geração Y sofre de ansiedade crônica, querem tudo muito rápido e não suportam esperar. Portanto, a partir do presente estudo, espera-se contribuir para reflexões sobre o consumo das mídias, e a relacão na formação das gerações.

The evolution of technology influences the way of doing things, determining points in the history of mankind and their generations. In the last century has seen the rapid evolution of information technologies and communication. Through field research, data were collected over the generations (Baby Boomer's Generation X, Generation Y or Millennial's) relating them to the consumption of certain media (radio, TV, internet). The Baby Boomer's had a great relationship with Radio and was the first generation to create a perspective of life than their ancestors, but some of their ideologies continue to influence new generations. Generation X, in turn, was more influenced by TV and therefore the advertising, and as a result of this evolution we see the Gen Y or Millennial's, these individuals have developed great influence on the Internet. The current generation is the largest in history, in numbers of individuals, and these three generations are at home, at school and at work. A survey by the magazine Epoca, points of interest in Baby Boomer's to absorb and learn these new technologies. Generation X and absorb new technologies, but are not connected so long as the generation Y (Millennial's). The implementation of new technologies makes milestones in the history of the formation of generations. As much as there is a Baby Boomer's interest in learning, lack the patience to teach younger. Generation Y suffers from chronic anxiety, they want everything very fast and can not bear to wait. Therefore, from the present study, we hope to contribute to reflections on the media consumption, and the relationship in the formation of generations.
